The Again Again system uses wireless NFC technology on your device to borrow items, available on most modern devices. If your device does not support NFC it can unfortunately not be used to borrow containers.
Tips for scanning
- Line up the NFC reader on your phone with the circular tag
- Hold the phone a few centimetres from the tag
- Keep the phone still for a few seconds. Waving it around does not help.
Location of scanner on your device
iPhone - at the top |
Android - varies |
The location of the NFC scanner differs between devices. The first time you use it you might need to try scanning with different parts of your device to work out where it is.
- On Apple iPhones the scanner is generally located at the top near the camera
- For Samsung devices refer to the Samsung help site for the exact location
- For other devices try searching the manufacturer's helpsite
Enabling NFC on your device
If you are using an Android device you need to make sure that NFC is enabled by going to
Settings -> Connected devices/Connections -> NFC
On Apple iPhones NFC is always enabled.
If you can’t get it to scan, ask the friendly staff to give you a hand.
